Oasis Academy Hadley is a new secondary school which replaced Albany School. Oasis Academy Hadley opened in September 2009 in the existing buildings at Albany and will transfer to a brand new building on a new site in September 2012.
The specialism of the Academy, agreed with the Local Authority to fit in with provision across the Borough, is Mathematics with ICT, and a second specialism in Music. We believe that this is attractive to local students and parents/carers because it creates both academic and vocational opportunities, serving well to inspire and equip our students to fully participate in the thriving business and IT-based globalised economy of the 21st century.
