Day 10

On Day 10 the Academy day ends at 14.00.  The Learning Resources Centre closes at 16.00.

Day 10 So Far...

  • 11th September was part of the three day induction into the Academy for all students.
    25th September was the Grand opening of the Academy.  Students took part in special assemblies, we had the whole Academy picture and the balloon release.
  • 9th October students particiaped in community activities involving model bridge building, solving puzzles and quizzes, a mini-rounders tournament and a poster design competition.
  • 23rd October focused on Black History Month and their sporting achievements, The history of South Africa and Apartheid and the person of Nelson Mandela.
  • 13th November was an Academic Review Day for all students.
  • 27th November was a Staff Training Day.
  • 11th December was a Staff Training Day.
  • 8th January the Academy was closed due to snow.
  • 5th February was a day of year based experiences.
