The aim is to raise sufficient funds to enable a team from Oasis Academy Hadley to travel to Kampala to support the educational project for 9 to 16 year olds run by Oasis Uganda. All funds raised will go to the Oasis Academy Hadley Travel Bursary Fund which exists to enable students from Oasis Academy Hadley to support Oasis Uganda through small group educational visits. ALL funds donated online through this website will go directly towards assisting the children.
We are very pleased with how fundraising has turned out so far but we still need your support! The small team of 6th form students have worked hard through various fundraisers to achieve your support; Our 200 mile bike ride ended with lots of smiles and support as we rode into the school summer fete. Our in school cake bake fed many hungry students and provided us with a great laugh. Our top prize of an Arsenal shirt; SIGNED by the WHOLE team provided a great incentive towards sales of tickets in our tombola, alongside many other great prizes.
The work doesn't stop there though!! Up and coming, we still have many fundraisers to go including another cake bake, an internal quiz night AND a fantastic gospel choir event. Taking place on the evening of Friday 23rd September where tickets are open to the public and are being sold at £3 for adults and £1 for students.
