Welcome to Oasis Academy Hadley's Parent Friends Association (PFA)

Why get involved?
The Academy Parents/Carers and Friends Association is an opportunity for people to come together to fundraise for the benefit of the students at Oasis Academy Hadley. As well as fund raising the Parent and Friends Association will provide you as parents and carers a way to become more actively involved in the Academy and to meet other parents, carers and friends of the Academy. We hope it will strengthen partnerships and develop strong links between home and the Academy. You don't have to be on the committee to get involved we welcome any support or help from the wider community.
Being part of the PFA is a fabulously rewarding job as it fulfils a vital role in the Academy. It raises funds that provide a wide range of facilities to help enrich the students experience at Oasis Academy Hadley.

Parents and carers of Oasis Academy Hadley are automatically a member of the PFA and your support and involvement is welcome, actively encouraged and essential! There are a number of people who hold elected positions and fulfil specific responsibilities, namely a 12 person Committee. All of these people are volunteers and are elected at the PFA Annnual General Meeting when vacancies arise.

The PFA committee has responsibility for the overall running and management of the PFA.

What is a Committee Member?
Parent, carers and friends who wish to take an active role in the running of the Parent and Friends Association but don't want to take on a specific role could become a Committee member. You will be expected to attend the Committee Meetings and will be able to vote on decisions. Committee members will take help with the organisation of events.

We're always keen to hear new ideas and better ways of doing things. Come along to one of our meetings when you can; we run these at different times of the day to make it more convenient. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.
