Principal Students
Our Principal Leaders act as role models, mentors and embody the ethos of the Academy. They have a crucial role in the image of the Sixth Form and ensuring its success.
The Principal leaders lead charity fundraising and student voice amongst the sixth form and represent the Academy at public and community events. They lead the Student Council and meet regularly with the Principal to discuss issues, review policies and procedures.
There are two Principal Students who are selected from an interview process from the 12 Student Leaders, who are elected by their communities, using a voting process.

Student Community Leaders
The Student Community Leaders and Deputy Community Leaders are sixth form students elected by their fellow students to be leaders in their community. They support with the smooth running of their Community by coordinating assemblies, organising events and mentoring younger students.
They play an active role in Academy life assisting with charity fundraising events and the pastoral and wellbeing activities during learning group time.
Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors are an important student leadership role within the Academy.
Within the Academy we have a great group of Student Ambassadors who fulfil regular duties and assist at special events. Through their roles they help the Academy run smoothly and provide support to other students. They are great example of students who show care for others.
Student Ambassadors are selected from Phase 2, Years 9-11, and Phase 1, Years 5-6. The role of Student Ambassador is one of the highest student positions in the Academy, and as a result is only awarded to students who demonstrate the highest standards in relation to the Hadley Way. Students who succeed in the Ambassador role can apply to be a Sixth Form Ambassador if they chose to study in the Sixth Form. These roles require a greater level of leadership, and often have a greater impact in student achievement.
The Ambassador programme provides students with frequent to develop their leadership skills and take on additional responsibilities. The Student Ambassador Team fulfil regular weekly duties at learning guide time, break and lunchtime within their communities. They also help with the running of special events such as Open Evening or Academic Review Days. This group of students carry out these roles in a very professional manner and are a credit to the Academy.
