Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors are an important student leadership role within the Academy.

Within the Academy we have a great group of Student Ambassadors who fulfil regular duties and assist at special events. Through their roles they help the Academy run smoothly and provide support to other students. They are great example of students who show care for others.

Student Ambassadors are selected from Phase 2, Years 9-11, and Phase 1, Years 5-6. The role of Student Ambassador is one of the highest student positions in the Academy, and as a result is only awarded to students who demonstrate the highest standards in relation to the Hadley Way. Students who succeed in the Ambassador role can apply to be a Sixth Form Ambassador if they chose to study in the Sixth Form. These roles require a greater level of leadership, and often have a greater impact in student achievement.

The Ambassador programme provides students with frequent to develop their leadership skills and take on additional responsibilities. The Student Ambassador Team fulfil regular weekly duties at learning guide time, break and lunchtime within their communities. They also help with the running of special events such as Open Evening or Parent Meeting Days. This group of students carry out these roles in a very professional manner and are a credit to the Academy.
