Sports Leadership
The Sports Leaders Award is a level 1 qualification, which is run in PE lessons for some students in Phase 2.
This is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful students to assist in leading purposeful and enjoyable sport and physical activities, under direct supervision.
Students who take the award will develop leadership skills including organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport. As part of the course, students will deliver sporting activities to younger students to either our Phase 1 or students to one of our local primary schools.
Within the Sport UK Leadership framework, students can progress to level 2 qualifications when in year 12.
