Year 9 Options
Here at Oasis Academy Hadley, we are passionate about ensuring our young people are not only given a choice in their future but feel empowered and informed about what their options are.
In year 9, students make some significant decisions about what they will study in years 9, 10 and 11. When deciding on their Pathway Choices, it is important to balance subjects that reflect their abilities, talent, and interests. We run a Pathways Information Evening in March to help year 9 students and their families make good choices.
In Year 11, we run an open evening for the Sixth Form where you can see all the courses on offer, at level three (A-Levels and BTEC) and level two (equivalent to GCSEs).
To find out about our Pathway offers and the subjects we can offer at KS4, please read our options booklet (found on the right). If you have any questions at all about the process, please contact our curriculum lead Icaro.Reis@oasishadley.org.

2. Aptitude: Choose subjects which you think you will be good at - you will be more likely to enjoy them as well.Think about why you might enjoy particular subjects and how committed you feel – e.g. drama.
