Students at Oasis Academy Hadley celebrate and are ready for their next steps after achieving a great set of A-Level results

After a considerable amount of hard work, despite the impact of the pandemic, our students are today receiving their A-Level results and celebrating their achievements. This is the case at Oasis Academy Hadley where the young people are looking forward to taking their next steps today after securing some phenomenal results.

Students have achieved superb individual results due to their hard work and dedication throughout their school and the last two years.

Our highest achieving students are Tasnia who attained A*, A*, A* in English Literature, History and Sociology, Yusra who attained A*, A*, A* in Maths, Economics and History and Nana who achieved A*, A*, A* in History, English Literature and Sociology. Nana and Tasnia have both received offers at the University of Cambridge to read Law and Human, Social and Political Sciences. Nana has also received a £8000 scholarship from Rothschilds for £6000 a year for academic excellence. Yusra has gained a place at highly competitive world class UCL to read Economics surpassing the A*AA grade requirements.

We are incredibly proud we have five students that have gained places at highly competitive Russell Group University Kings College London. Alannis, Emmanuel, Sarah, Simge and Sinem will be studying a wide range of subjects Psychology, Politics and Media in September and their places demonstrate continuous commitment during their education at Oasis Academy Hadley.

We are thrilled that seven of our students have gained places at UCL Abdul, Haydarcan, Kaci, Kemal, Mustapha, Omer and Yusra, this is a huge accomplishment and testament to the dedication and resilience shown over the last two years to win a place at such a prestigious university having gone through a rigorous interview and selection process.

 

Outside of London our most popular university choice is Russell Group University, University of Warwick with eight of our students gaining places.  Bianka, Erindo, Joyce, Aicha, Naomi, Rayya, Rodi and Zak will be studying Law, Economics, Sociology, History and Psychology.

Hamsa has received a place at the University of Nottingham to study Management after achieving an A in Economics, B in History and Distinction on Business.

Emre has gained a place at the University of Birmingham to study International Business with Distinction* Distinction* in Business, A* in Finance, an A Turkish and an A in his EPQ.

Angelina gained a place at Queen Mary to study Marketing and Management attaining a Distinction* in Business, A in Finance and a B in Psychology.

Sohaib has accepted a place at Royal Holloway University to study Computer Science after achieving an A* in Arabic, A in English Literature and an A in Geography.

“These young people now leave us with the qualifications that they need to go on to exceptional universities and excel in the world of work, confident in the fantastic grades that they have achieved - we wish them all the very best for in their future endeavours.”

“A huge credit too, all the staff from across the Academy – many of our Sixth Form students have been with us throughout their primary and secondary education and so today is the culmination of many years of study and progress.
