ARC Group Guest Speaker - Y7 Enrichment
Year 7 heard from guest speaker Amy Pecker, a Social Value Manager from ARC Group, a construction company based in London.
Our students learned about careers in construction and the different pathways to access them, like apprenticeships and qualifications needed. As a woman in construction, Amy shared her experiences; how she ignored stereotypes people have with the industry and how she developed her career route from an apprenticeship to her current senior position.
Our Year 7 student asked lots of questions (especially girls!) and found the topic engaging.
