Author Helen Peters Visits Hadley!

Years 5 and 6 had a brilliant afternoon with author Helen Peters. Inspired by WW2, Helen’s event blended fascinating historical facts with engaging, interactive puzzles, all brought together through the vivid storytelling her books are known for. Perfectly aligned with the KS2 curriculum, her WW2 session focused on both Friends and Traitors and Anna at War, which we gave away as prizes.

She shared the real history and inspiration behind her stories before leading a clue solving mystery activity that had everyone working together like real detectives! Helen's visit was an inspiring way to build excitement and set the tone as we get ready to kick off World Book Week next week!
