'Behind the Headlines' Media trip to The Guardian
Media Studies students went on an interesting trip to The Guardians' head office in Kings Cross, London. Students gained first-hand insight into the fast-paced world of news production. Working in pairs, they selected stories, edited text, wrote headlines, and decided how best to present news content to an audience.
They explored the decision-making processes behind editing and presentation, learned how language, tone, layout shapes, and how news is consumed. Students received a printed copy of their work which are on display in the media classroom
Well done!
