Barbies Bad Hair Day - We used a Van de Graaff generator to make Barbie's hair stand on end. All the hairs have the same charge and repel each other.

Lego Density Test - We tested how different liquids affect floating and sinking using Lego. A simple but cool way to observe the science of density.
To wrap up the week, science went out with a bang - A Thermite Reaction! In this demonstration, students observed the highly exothermic reaction between aluminium and iron oxide that produces molten iron. Watch the video below:
