Last Wednesday, Oasis Academy Hadley proudly hosted Careers Day 2025 for students in Years 11, 12 and 13. This annual event is designed to inspire, inform and prepare our students for life beyond school.
What Happened on the Day?
The day began with Interview Skills Workshops and Mock Interviews, giving students practical experience and confidence for real-world scenarios. These sessions emphasised the importance of preparation, professionalism and communication as essential tools for every career.

Our Keynote Speaker, Marco Bertozzi, brought 30 years of experience in advertising and leadership roles at Spotify, Publicis and Whalar. He also founded his own media consultancy company that helps other professionals and businesses make the most of their advertising budget. His message was clear in that careers are rarely linear and adaptability is key. Marco had a few top tips for success:
- Network - These relationships can lead to opportunities.
- Work experience counts - Every job role adds value to your skills.
- Work hard - Effort sets you apart.
- Prepare for interviews - No excuses.
- Find a mentor - Guidance accelerates your growth.
