Celebrating Black History Month in Early Years
This October, our Early Years children have been learning about Black History through stories, art, and discussion. We explored traditional African mud cloths and talked about the beautiful patterns, shapes, and colours used. The children created their own patterned cloths using repeated designs, linking their artwork to our learning in maths. It's been a joyful way to celebrate culture, creativity, and the importance of diversity in our world.
