Janet Powell , Director of Production from Playful Production, visited our Year 7 students this week during enrichment session and to speak about her career journey within the creative industries. Janet shared her experiences working in a variety of roles, including Lighting Technician and Front of House Manager, before progressing to become the Director of her own production company.
Students were highly engaged throughout the session and asked insightful questions about career pathways, skills development, and working in the industry. The talk provided valuable first-hand insight into the diverse opportunities available in production and helped students gain a clearer understanding of how different roles can lead to leadership positions within the sector.
