On Friday 16th Jan 2026, students took a trip to Framestore. Framestore is a company that specialises in VFX (Visual Effects) They work creating the characters and actions of the story. They have worked on Paddington, Dobby from Harry Potter, How to Train your Dragon, Guardians of the Galaxy, Stranger Things and many more.
The students were spoken to about what VFX is and how it works. They outlined the process they go through in creating their work, and the different roles found within the company, from Artists, moulding characters in clay to working on a computer.
Students were set a task to create their own immersive experience, and had to break it down in sections, and then present it to the rest of the groups at the end of the day.
It was an amazing experience, and all students made us proud.
