UCL Dr. Rae Harbird Day Visit with Year 9

Year 9 went on a fantastic and highly interactive trip to University College London (UCL). Rae Harbird Day celebrates the legacy of a much-loved member of the UCL Computer Science community.

The students were thoroughly engaged throughout the day. They took part in a wide range of activities including VR, robotics, camera‑based human identification, and even learning about driverless cars (such as Waymo) giving them insight into how it gets around.

The experience was exciting, thought‑provoking, and very insightful for our Year 9s.
