Year 10 Visit Charles Russell Speechlys

Year 10 students recently had the exciting opportunity to visit Charles Russell Speechlys to gain first-hand insight into careers in the legal sector.

Students attended a panel discussion featuring Partners, Associates and the firm’s Diversity Manager, where they learned about the different departments within a law firm and the skills required for a range of legal roles.

The visit also included 1:1 mentoring conversations with professionals, allowing students to discuss their future aspirations and subject choices. A transferable skills workshop helped them identify strengths and understand how to enhance their CVs.

The experience was engaging, informative and inspiring — supporting our ongoing commitment to meaningful employer encounters in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks and Oasis’ vision of developing confident and capable young people.
