Year 11 students recently completed a very successful field trip under freezing conditions! Read on for a student account of the day...
On Thursday 13th of December, both of our Year 11 Geography classes went on a trip to Walton-on-the-Naze.
On the trip we discussed how effective we thought the different coastal management techniques were in reducing the effects of erosion due to strong, destructive waves. We all thoroughly enjoyed this trip and found it peaceful and fun to be beside the sea , despite the fact that it was extremely cold and windy, which we had to wear layers of clothes to protect ourselves from it.
