Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Why We're Number One

At Oasis Sixth Form we ensure students are supported throughout their time here. We work with a wide range of partners to ensure students are given opportunities at universities, have experience of the world of work and meet professionals and are supported academically.

As a student of Oasis Sixth Form, you will have a huge range of opportunities. You can study subjects you are passionate about whilst also participating in an exciting enrichment programme.

We host a wide range of speakers once a week at Oasis Sixth form, past speakers have included the American Ambassador Financial Times restaurant critic Nick Lander, MOBO Awards judge and radio producer Ruby Mulraine, Tim Hincks former Chief Executive of Endemol UK, House of Lords peer Lord Carnwarth and Will Lewis former Editor of the Daily Telegraph and CEO of Dow Jones.

Our annual Higher Education Fair hosts over forty top universities and apprenticeships, and is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain advice and information so that they are able to make informed choices about their future.

In addition to this the Academy works with a variety of external organisations to provide specialist career and subject guidance including Medicine, Dentistry and Mathematics Summer Schools, Law workshops, Oxbridge conferences, Apprenticeship fairs, Safe Driving guidance and International Gap Year scholarships. Many of the students on these programmes go on to receive places at Russell Group and Top 40 universities.

Student leadership

Hadley Sixth Formers are considered leaders in their academies and are given many opportunities to lead and take responsibility. Our Sixth Formers are role models for younger students and they run academic clubs, organise charity events, mentor younger students.

The academy has a comprehensive accredited voluntary programme and works with a broad spectrum of companies and charities within the Greater London area so that each student has the opportunity to volunteer and support their wider community whilst gaining valuable experience.
